HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON Single Shot Slug Gun,20 gauge, 3" Chambered,
24" Rifled Barrel, Walnut Stained stock
The Harrington & Richardson Ultra Slug Guns have combined the heavy
barrel concept of the Ultra Varmint Rifle with the 12 gauge sabot slug
to achieve a level of accuracy previously unheard of in firearms below
the 1,000 mark. The Ultra Slug Guns used the Harrington and Richardson (H&R) transfer bar safety
system, mated to a heavy action designed for our 10 ga. It is bored
and rifled for an extremely heavy barrel wall. This process creates
the stiffest possible barrel, limiting barrel whip and shrinking group
size. It is covered by the NEF Lifetime No Fault Service plan.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to sight in many slug guns. Tar hunt, Ithica 37 with the fixed slug barrel, savage 210 and the mossberg 695, they are all great but none of them even plays on the same field with the ultra slug hunter in 12 or 20. All things considered price funtion and accuracy the ultra slug gun is the king period. I placed six clays on a sheet of OSB at 200 yards, with hornaday SST I was able to go six for six from a bench. with the right ammo 250 is very possible.

Drop the old stigma that 20's are for kids and "girly men."
I was recently gifted one, and as an avid hunter, and a US Army vet, Im used to the big guns, brought up on 12's, and the first round out of the 20 made me a beliver. After I zeroed in, and locked in my scope, I had a shot group of (3)@ 2" @ 150yds. Dead on the money. Raised up a hair and easily slung a round as far as 200yds. Pick up a bore snake for an easy field clean and DEF spend a few extra bucks and get either Lightfields or Hornady rounds. Please Don't base your final thoughts on regular "slugger" rounds. Be safe and enjoy the hell outta them...
