This is just a beautiful lever action rifle. I dont hung, only target shoot so i cant say anything about outdoor hunting qualities of this rifle. But i love the fit, finish and smoooooooth action. A pleasure to shoot. Little ]almost no[ recoil with 38 special ammo. Only thing i didn''t like was the manual which did not show a proper sight picture nor any instructions on field stripping...?!

The rifle shoots like a dream. I had issues with the original rifle because it would not feed the 38 special ammo properly. The factory immediately sent me another rifle. Due to the weight of this rifle there is very little recoil. Even my wife likes the way it shoots. Didn't even need to adjust the sights. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is the look of the forearm. It could have been rounded like on the Golden Boy instead of squared off.
