These protectors provide very good noise reduction and a comfortable fit, all while allowing you to hear normal conversation on the range. This is the second pair I ordered, and I let a shooting partner use my spare every time I go to the range. Everyone who''s tried my muffs has given them rave reviews.

Small, compact. Works great, especially for the price. Build quality nice. Single mic picks up well. Echo''y, like youre in a gymnasium, but for the price you cant beat it. I also bought the $26 Caldwells. These Howards are a few steps up in build quality and only a couple of notches for sound. Both work well for blocking out loud noises.

I have had these a few months and they are really quite good for the range and i even let my 3 year old son use them to attend a resent air show, without which he would not have been able to stay. Very comfortable a bit warm all round good kit.

These are the best deal for the money, sure there are others that are less expensive but at this price point they simply cannot be beat. Excellent sound amplification and sound dampening. Slim profile does not interfere with shooting rifles.

Excellent fit, very fast response for both shutting off and resuming sound amplification, and a good range of amplification via the volume knob. It took some time of experimentation to discover how much volume I wanted, due to the fact that it was difficult to tell at times how loud the sounds around me were in the first place. However, that was more an issue of operator training, and after a few days on the range it was no problem at all. The actual noise reduction is not phenomenal, but I knew what I was getting into buying the low-profile model in the first place. Taking that into consideration, their performance was great.

This Earmuff device is Excellent. The comfort level leaves me using it for 5 sometimes 6 hours without discomfort. I have a large head and this muff accomodates where others do not. The slim profile looks more covert than all the others I own. It doesn''t make my ears sweat like my other ones either. The sound dampening is not bad either, at louder environments the sound seems a little distorted but overall a Great Device. I would buy this again and recommend this to all serious shooters.
