This is my all time favorite rifle - accurate, easy to point and hard hitting for its size. I use it on varmints around my Wisconsin farm - raccoons, coyotes, feral cats, woodchucks, possums, ground squirrels - anything that annoys me - and for cottontails in the fall. It is significantly more accurate than any .22 I have ever fired and the v-shock ammo I use gives a clean kill - none of that chasing a wounded animal through the woods - you hit a varmint with this rifle and it doesn''t run away.
I give it four instead of five stars due to the magazine - it does not register correctly with the action and will mis-feed a round at times. Nothing my local gunsmith can''t fix, I''m sure, but I just haven''t gotten around to taking it to him ]in three years of shooting....[.
I bought mine mounted with a used scope - a mid-range 1.8-8 x Bushnell - and have it sighted in at 100 feet.
Nice for plinking, too - fill an aluminum soda/beer can with water, set it out at 100 feet and have fun. A little pricey compared to a .22, but the parts sure do fly...
